Well, the top four films this week actually belong to new releases, but with a nearly $17 million gap between the 3rd and 4th spot, it's safe to say the Top 3 did very well for themselves indeed. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston took the lead at the box office with Just Go with It, the romantic comedy taking in $31 million this weekend. Not far behind is Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, the musician's 3-D, G-rated biopic making $30.2 million. Gnomeo & Juliet, another 3-D G-rated film, came in 3rd with $25.5 million, placing it well ahead of the action adventure The Eagle which came in 4th with only $8.5 million in comparison. Most of the films, like much of the previous few weeks, are receiving tepid to low reception amongst critics.

The Roommate fell to 5th place with $8.4 million, the teen-aimed thriller already having proved a moneymaker with $26 million in the bank, though it can't hold a candle to 6th place's The King's Speech, whose $7.4 million this week has nearly pushed the English drama into megahit territory with $93.8 million. No Strings Attached came in 7th, the comedy making $5.6 million to go along with a respectable $59.8 million overall.

Sanctum, however, is sinking fast, dropping from 2nd to 8th in the span of a week, earning $5.1 million for a total of $17.5 million … only a little over half of its reported $30 million budget. Compare that to 9th place's True Grit, no stranger to the Top 10, earning $3.8 million and entering its eighth week with $160.3 million. And just below it, The Green Hornet made $3.6 million, giving the action comedy $92.3 in three weeks.
